Dr Sharon Laura regularly attends breast conferences to keep informed of all the latest developments in breast cancer care and takes pride in providing the best cosmetic result possible after surgery.
Dr Sharon Laura is part of a multi-disciplinary team, aiming to provide the best possible care for her breast and thyroid cancer patients. She also works at Breast Screen. Dr Sharon Laura is a member of Breast Surganz, Australasian Society of Breast Disease and General Surgeons Australia. She has a Bachelor of Medicine and FRACS Fellowship Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Dr Sharon Laura is involved in training Surgical Registrars and Medical students and is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at Newcastle University. She is involved in research and Breast Cancer Trials.
Although breast and thyroid surgery are Dr Laura's main sub-specialty interests, she also performs general surgery, such as gall- bladder and hernia surgery with regular operating lists at Gosford Public Hospital and Gosford Private Hospital.
